With referee to previous correspondence terminating ith your letter No.15724/19 of the 23rd June, 1919, I have he honour to inform you that Police Constable Mo.61 H.B. Fillips, who sailed for Hong Kong on the 1st July, informed
in letter dated the 28th June that he is married. This le the first intimation that we have received of the warriage The date of which is unknown to us and no deductions on ccount of Separation Allowance, have been made from his olonial Allowance; in the circumstances, I have to enquire f we should ascertain from the Military Authorities whether
y Separation Allowance has been issued to Mrs. Phillips
d if so, whether this should he reported to the Government
Hong Kong with a request that they obtain the date of his arriage from Mr.Phillips and recover such Separation llowance as he may have received whilst serving in the army.
